Project Brief:

Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company required operation of the IKIS sewer information system, supporting TAQA-WS in assessing sewerage network condition across the whole of Abu Dhabi Emirate.

The scope covers operating IKIS and supporting TAQA-WS’s Asset Management, Projects Management and Operation & Maintenance divisions, including handover of rehabilitated projects and preparation of rehabilitation contracts.

​Design Concept:

IKIS gives network operators continuous, current information on sewer condition, built from completed inspections and assessments, and manages reading, saving and evaluating operational data, photos, films and documents.

Beyond day-to-day operation, this support feeds directly into TAQA-WS’s asset planning and rehabilitation programme, translating inspection records into prioritised, documented rehabilitation contracts.
