Project Brief:

Ohana Development appointed AE International Consultancy LLC as a sub-consultant to Al Salaam Consultants, delivering landscape, irrigation, and landscape lighting design services for Ohana Tower, a high-end residential tower on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

The commission spans Concept Design, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, and Construction Documents, carrying the landscape scope through to on-site delivery as the tower’s residential podium and amenity decks move through construction.

Design Concept:

The design draws on diagonal and angular lines that contrast the tower’s wavy architectural form, expressed through planting layouts, planter shapes, and paving patterns to create a clear distinction between architecture and landscape.

Ohana, the Hawaiian word for family, shapes the landscape strategy: gathering spaces support family activities throughout the site, while high-quality materials and finishes reflect the tower’s high-end residential character.
