Project Brief:

Design, construction and coordination overview of sewerage works were provided on Al Reem Island – pipe works, manholes, plot connections, pumping stations and treatment plants – across the island’s mixed-use development.

Reem Island spans 633 hectares and is being delivered by three developers – Tamouh (60%), Sorouh (20%) and Al Reem Investment (20%) – overseen by facilities manager Bunya, with ongoing works for Tamouh, Aldar, Reem Developer and Capital Bay.

Design Concept:

This design and coordination overview supports Reem Island’s residential, commercial and business districts, covering DD and Site Supervision alongside the core sewerage design and tendering review.

Coordination across multiple developers keeps sewerage infrastructure consistent as the island’s schools, clinics, malls, hotels, golf course and beach amenities are progressively built out.
