Project Brief:

The Department of Municipalities & Transport (DMT) – Al Dhafrah Region Municipality (DRM) envisioned continuous improvement of the City of Al Dhafrah through high-quality roads, infrastructure, and public realm developments.

The Consultancy Services were awarded through Aldar, responsible for five major design milestones including all authority approvals, NOCs, permits, and client approvals.

Design Concept:

The scope covered road works, a cycle track, power distribution, street lighting, and telecommunication networks across the industrial area.

Potable water, sewerage, and stormwater networks were coordinated with landscape and irrigation design, plus a solid waste management system for the completed development.
