Project Brief:

Dubai South is re-masterplanning Phase VI as a self-sufficient townhouse and villa development centered on place-making, with limited apartment use across the 220,150 sqm site.

AE International was commissioned to provide landscape and irrigation design through M.A. Kharafi & Sons and Ital Consult, carrying the scope from Preliminary Design through Construction Documentation.

Design Concept:

The landscape design intent entices residents and visitors with a sense of relaxation throughout the development, drawing on the calming, restorative effect of moving water on mood and wellbeing.

Gravel layers outline the streets to resemble water waves, while sikkas and parks follow curved networks, extending that same calming geometry across the wider public realm.
