Project Brief:

Abu Dhabi Sustainable Water Solutions Company (TAQA Water Solutions) appointed AE International Consultancy for design and construction supervision of an emergency discharge arrangement for MPS18, a PS10/1 pumping main diversion, and an upgrade of KIZAD pumping stations.

The consultancy runs through Inception Report, PD, DD, TD and IFC stages plus a Maintenance Period, covering the Al Wathba, Mafraq and KIZAD areas under ADSWS’s phased pump station and network rehabilitation programme.

Design Concept:

The design provides an emergency and redundant discharge arrangement for MPS18 alongside diversion of the PS10/1 pumping main, addressing hydraulic capacity and asset integrity identified under the rehabilitation programme.

Pumping stations across KIZAD are upgraded and reconfigured to improve resilience, HSE performance and sustainability, ensuring uninterrupted service and compliance with current operational standards.
