Project Brief:

The Lulu Island Development comprises the concept design of a large-scale waterfront public realm and landscape destination covering approximately 6.65 million sqm, establishing a framework for parks, promenades, beaches, and active mobility networks.

The proposal includes over 5 million sqm of accessible open space, extensive waterfront promenades and beaches, children’s play areas, sports facilities, and multi-purpose community spaces within a cohesive public realm network.

Design Concept:

The landscape vision creates a resilient, destination-driven, people-oriented environment that enhances the island’s identity while promoting walkability, cycling, recreation, and community wellbeing.

Sustainable placemaking, climate-responsive design, and ecological enhancement strengthen connections between the built environment, natural systems, and waterfront edges, establishing Lulu Island as a memorable Abu Dhabi destination.
