Project Brief:

Yas Marina Circuit (YMC), venue for the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, sought to enhance overtaking opportunities and bring more challenge and excitement to the circuit and spectators.

The role of Project Management/Quantity Surveyor was undertaken, managing the fast-tracked project throughout all its phases across a parallel group of consultants and contractors.

Design Concept:

Coordination was led and managed between the Lead Design, Engineer/TC, Track Lighting Contractor, and Soil Improvement Consultant, delivering design outputs on time.

The scope also covered procurement of the Main Contractor, construction and supervision, and commissioning, completion, and handover including final account close-out.
