Project Brief:

The project “Design and Construction Supervision Consultancy Services for the construction of Public Park in Liwa City” has been initiated by the Al Dhafrah Region Municipality (DRM) to provide the design of Liwa Park project located at Liwa City –Plot No. P1204 – Liwa Mizerah – Al Dhafrah Region.

There were 3 concepts presented during the Concept Design Stage of the project, in which the selected concept by DRM will proceed to the Preliminary Design Stage.

Selected Design Concept:

The inspiration of the Heart came from the location of the park in the heart of Liwa, Mizrea village, which is, the geographic and economic center of Liwa. This strategic location will add a great value to the park and to its important role in keeping the area dynamic and energetic, the same important role of that of the human heart.

The design of the park is intended to keep the city active and alive by having many active functions: playgrounds, courts, cycling, jogging, as well as dedicated spaces to host different events and festivals that Liwa city is famous for.
