PERFORMANCE GOLF

    PERFORMANCE GOLF, AL MARIAH ISLAND, ABU DHABI, UAE

    AE was assigned to provide an architectural design concept for the Performance Golf complex at Al Mariah Island, Abu Dhabi.


    The total site area is 45,000 sqm. located in front of the Galleria Mall, making the project site a strategic location accessible to many visitors. The building will be connected to the mall through the footbridge.


    There are a total of 64 nos. containers customized with a higher ceiling for the hitting bays. The driving range size is 220 x 150 meters in width, surrounded with rows of trees and mild terrain targets. 


    The building is a combination of glass, steel and modified shipping containers used as the main shell material. With the use of glass skylight and glass walls, the facade is greatly taking advantage of the natural lighting which would minimize the lighting requirement and at the same time will provide the experience of being part of the outside environment.
