Project Brief:

Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) required design of the potable water supply network for 42 Ezba plots on Dalma Island, Al Dhafra Region, under Contract No. D-110732.

Liaison with DRM and TAQA/ADDC confirmed future demand of 0.3 MIGD, covering roughly 2.4 km of feeder pipeline and 2.1 km of internal network.

Design Concept:

The civil design covers all valve chambers, thrust blocks, protection slabs and road crossings needed to support the pipework and its appurtenances.

The available tie-in connection options were also studied, including the design of the required valves and control accessories for the network.
