Project Brief:

Abu Dhabi Sustainable Water Solutions Company required, under Contract O-14358, review of design, coordination and oversight of construction of sewerage systems developed across Abu Dhabi and the Al Dhafra Region.

The contract, running since 2008 and revised to include Saadiyat and Reem Islands, spans design review through construction overview, with dozens of projects completed, ongoing or transferred between contracts as the programme evolves.

Design Concept:

This review ensures every sewerage system planned or built by public and private developers meets SWS’s technical standards, regulations and contractual criteria across the Western Region and outlying islands.

Of the projects tracked, most are complete or under construction, a handful remain in detailed design, and several have transferred between contracts O-1269 and O-14358 as SWS consolidates its consultancy coverage.
