Project Brief:

Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) is upgrading existing sewerage assets including the treatment plant and pumping station, and constructing a new sewerage collection network with TSE transmission in the Western Region.

The project is located in the Liwa area, Western Region, approximately 220km from Abu Dhabi City, covering Al Nafeer, Al Raygah, and Jiffin Industrial Area.

​Design Concept:

The existing sewerage treatment plant capacity is being extended from 2,500 m3/day to 7,500 m3/day, using an aeration wastewater treatment process.

The connected areas span roughly 2km, 1km, and 50km from the Central Liwa-Mezairaa area respectively, bringing remote communities onto the upgraded network.
