Project Brief:

Abu Dhabi Municipality commissioned development of access roads and junctions serving the New Al Mafraq Hospital, with all associated infrastructure and public realm improvements.

The scope covers roads and parking facilities, intersections and crossings, service corridors, and storm water design and connection across the hospital’s surrounding network.

Design Concept:

Public realm works within the ROW include all hard and soft landscape, pedestrian and cycle routes, lay-bys, and taxi/bus stops, plus irrigation throughout the public realm.

Traffic signals, an intelligent traffic system with red-light violation cameras, and protection and relocation of existing services complete the upgraded corridor.
