Project Brief:

Yas Marina Circuit (YMC), venue for the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, sought to enhance overtaking opportunities and bring more challenge and excitement to the circuit and spectators.

Due to the project’s fast-track nature, ADMM appointed a group of consultants and contractors in parallel, with the Engineer/Technical Consultant role awarded as part of that structure.

Design Concept:

The scope spanned IT and sporting package, MEP track services, asphalt package, and track lighting, delivered in close coordination with ADMM, the Lead Designer, and several contractors.

Civil works included track gantry foundation and relocation, retaining walls, track drainage and barriers, stormwater, concrete kerbs, utility encasement, and landscaping and irrigation.
