Project Brief:

Baniyas Investment & Development Company required detailed design and supervision services to construct a fire-fighting and irrigation reservoir with pumping station for Bawabat Al Sharq, Baniyas East.

Delivered through PD, DD, TD and IFC stages, the project serves the 108-hectare, three-phase Bawabat Al Sharq development roughly 25km southeast of Abu Dhabi City.

Design Concept:

The design follows a pressure survey and relocation of existing fire hydrants, sizing the reservoir and pump station against the development’s Concept Master Plan and a dedicated surge analysis.

The scope also covers analysis of existing hydraulic models, tender preparation and management, and construction supervision through to completion of the reservoir and pumping station.
