Project Brief:

Abu Dhabi Ports Company required consultancy services for the KIZAD CWW Network Study and rehabilitation design under Contract No. 2201-110, investigating high salinity in the network’s pump station and manholes.

The scope covers preliminary investigation, catchment study, field salinity monitoring, CCTV reporting, detailed rehabilitation design and tender documentation, ahead of KIZAD handing the sewerage network over to ADSSC.

Design Concept:

The review evaluated and recommended replacement or rehabilitation across the affected gravity network, having monitored 16 locations for salinity in Stage 1, nine of which exceeded 3,000 ppm.

The rehabilitation design and tender documents are built to be compatible with ADSSC’s IKIS sewer information system, so future inspection records meet ADSSC’s standard specification.
