Project Brief:

Al Dhafra Region Municipality (DRM) initiated the Liwa Park project at Plot P1204, Liwa Mizerah, appointing AE International Consultancy to develop design concepts for a new public park in Liwa City.

Three concepts were presented during the Concept Design stage; the project was subsequently cancelled due to issues with the area’s approved masterplan, closing the scope at concept stage.

Design Concept:

The selected concept, The Heart, drew inspiration from the park’s location at the geographic and economic center of Liwa, Mizera village—an active, energetic role echoing that of the human heart.

The park was designed to keep the city active through playgrounds, courts, cycling, and jogging routes, plus dedicated spaces for the events and festivals Liwa city is known for.
