Project Brief:

Al Dhafra Region Municipality (DRM) appointed AE International Consultancy to provide design and construction supervision services for Liwa Park at Plot P1231, Dhafeer Area, connecting to the recently constructed Liwa Signage landmark.

The park’s main objective is to provide a camping and picnic destination that draws visitors to the site, particularly during the festive season, while supporting the city’s growing tourism appeal.

Design Concept:

Natural sand ripples inspired the park’s linear geometry, so the design blends with the surrounding dunes while celebrating desert life and preserving the heritage and identity of Liwa city.

Red, a symbol of joy and festivity, dominates the furniture palette, reinforcing the celebratory character the park is intended to bring to its community and visitors.
