Client: Abu Dhabi Sustainable Water Solutions Company PJSC (TAQA Water Solutions)
Employer: KN International

Cost: 800 Million AED
Project Scope: Design and Supervision
Project Status: On-going

Project Brief:

New developments across Abu Dhabi Emirate include sewerage infrastructure built by private developers and authorities that must be designed and constructed to TAQA-WS standards before transfer to TAQA-WS ownership.

TAQA-WS required coordination between the responsible Authority, the Developer and its Consultant, and TAQA-WS, covering networks, pumping stations, force mains, treatment plants and vacuum systems.

Design Concept:

Close coordination is maintained with each Developer’s Consultant through a staged review process: conceptual and preliminary design, detailed design and tender documents, and tender/bidder clarifications.

The final stage is overview of construction works, ensuring the completed sewerage infrastructure meets TAQA-WS requirements before it is handed over and transferred into TAQA-WS ownership.
