Overview of Waste Water Works in Al Gharbia

Client:Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC)
Employer: Otak International

Construction Cost: 7.5 Billion AED
Project Stages: Tendering Review, Construction Overview, Coordination
Project Status: On going

Project Brief:

ADSSC required an overview of all private and public sewerage infrastructure projects underway across Al Gharbia, the 60,000 sq km Western Region of Abu Dhabi bordering Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

With multiple consultants independently planning collection, conveyance, disposal and treatment systems for the region’s growing population, a tendering review and construction overview keep these parallel sewerage projects coordinated.

Design Concept:

The overview spans sewerage collection networks, treatment plants and pumping stations alongside TSE (treated sewage effluent) distribution networks, pumping stations and reservoirs planned across Al Gharbia.

By tracking tendering and construction progress across every scheme, the region’s traditional and modern communities are served by a coordinated sewerage system as development accelerates.
