Project Brief:
Following a request from HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Private Office, ADDC required design and supervision of a recycled water supply extension to VIP farms in Al Wathba, roughly 8km from the nearest RW source.
The scope covers survey, design, tender document preparation, construction supervision and maintenance-period supervision, drawing on established water infrastructure planning and design experience with ADDC.
Design Concept:
The design centres on an approximately 8km DN700 ductile iron pipeline from the connection point to the premises’ reservoir site, sized against a projected future demand of 7.0 MIGD.
Scope also covers valves, chambers, fittings, anchor and thrust blocks, and all civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and telecom works, commissioned and tested before handover.
The review also validates material supply and installation costs against market rates and assesses the contract’s technical and commercial standing before final payment.
