Project Brief:

ADSSC identified the need to rehabilitate and replace ageing sewerage assets in Al Ain, requiring delivery of the most efficient rehabilitation scheme based on technical feasibility and economic assessment of the existing network.

Design for construction contract O-14969 was carried out under a related ADSSC consultancy contract (O-14154), covering inspection, condition assessment and upgrade of both sewer pipes and manholes.

Design Concept:

Multidisciplinary teams use the latest hydraulic simulation and design software to size efficient wastewater schemes against existing conditions and future demand projections.

The scope combines pipe and manhole inspection and condition assessment with targeted rehabilitation or replacement works, restoring network performance under Package 1 of the Al Ain programme.
