Project Brief:

The Department of Municipalities and Transport required design, cost consultancy and construction supervision of the Stormwater Drainage Network in Sila City – Phase 3, addressing recurring flooding and ponding across the development.

The scope covers CD, PD, DD, TD and Supervision stages, delivering a sustainable subsoil drainage system at Ras Mushaireb Street, Baia Sila Farms Area, the Old Sila Industrial Area and the adjoining asphalt road near the farms.

Design Concept:

The design introduces a sustainable stormwater drainage system engineered to resolve chronic flooding and ponding across Sila City – Phase 3, tailored to each affected location’s ground conditions and existing road network.

Construction supervision runs alongside design delivery, with close coordination among all stakeholders and authorities to ensure the finished drainage network functions reliably once built and handed over.
