Project Brief:

TAQA Distribution directed, on behalf of Reem Hills, design of a DN800mm waterline connecting the TAQA-Transmission DN1200mm main to the regional DN800mm line serving Reem Island.

The works form part of the essential infrastructure funded by the Al Reem Island Essential Infrastructure Committee (ARIEIC), supporting a development planned for over 200,000 residents.

Design Concept:

The design revalidates the integrated hydraulic study for the entire island and confirms the interface connection with the existing TAQA Transmission DN1200 waterline.

The scope also covers a surge study, a water quality study, and all associated civil, electro-mechanical, instrumentation and telecommunication works.
