Project Brief:

Development of an integrated public realm and landscape masterplan connecting Zayed National Museum and Abrahamic Family House, focused on enhancing visitor accessibility, circulation, spatial connectivity, and overall site functionality through coordinated landscape and infrastructure interventions

There were 3 concepts presented during the Concept Design Stage of the project, in which the selected concept by DRM will proceed to the Preliminary Design Stage.

Design Concept:

The design concept is driven by the landscape character of Al Masar Garden, translating the oasis narrative into a functional and contemporary public realm. The proposal integrates sculpted landforms, falaj-inspired water elements, shaded pedestrian networks, and native planting to create a cohesive visitor experience that strengthens cultural identity, environmental performance, and spatial continuity across the site.
