Project Brief:
The scope of work encompasses the design and development of a 140.0 km cycling track and associated public spaces across the Al Ain Region. The project includes all required design features and approvals. Key components of the design comprise cycling tracks, walkways, street furniture, lighting, shading elements, signage and wayfinding systems, wind barriers, and aesthetically designed soft landscaping.
The design scope further integrates road safety audits, surface stormwater drainage systems, pedestrian crossings, and road markings to ensure safety and functionality.
Additionally, the project involves coordination across multiple disciplines, including wet and dry utilities, such as electrical, telecommunication, and infrastructure protection works, covering both the cycling track and the surrounding public spaces.

Design Concept:
The cycle track design approach adopts a strategic, context-sensitive framework that classifies project areas according to their urban density, existing infrastructure, and environmental characteristics. This methodology ensures that each zone receives a customized design solution, enhancing functionality, safety, and overall user experience.
