Ohana Development has appointed AE International Consultancy LLC as a sub-consultant of Al Salaam Consultants, to provide the design consultancy services of Ohana Tower for Landscape, Irrigation and Landscape Lighting. The project stages are Concept Design, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design and Construction Documents.
The location of the project is Plot No. C17A, Sector RR2, Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Design Concept:
The concept of the design is to have diagonal and angular lines in order to contrast the wavy shape of the Ohana tower. This approach creates a distinct difference between architectural and landscape. These lines are visually represented through planting layouts, planter shapes and paving area shapes.
Ohana is a Hawaiian term which means family. This idea was taken into consideration in creating the landscape spaces. Areas that can accommodate family gatherings or activities are provided.
Having Ohana tower as a high-end residential tower, considerations of high-quality materials, finishings, fixture, furniture and equipment is applied on the design.
